On Saturday at 7:43 p.m. the National Weather Service released a special weather statement until Sunday at 2 a.m. for Central Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog was occurring across portions of the area. Visibilities of less than one mile are possible. If you encounter dense fog, slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow for extra distance between your vehicle and those around you," explains the weather service.
