At 5:57 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a special weather statement until 8 a.m. for North Central Oregon and Central Oregon.
"Snow showers are producing accumulating snowfall accompanied by localized areas of visibility as low as one-quarter mile. Use extra caution if driving this morning as visibilities may change rapidly and roads may quickly become snow-covered in heavier showers," states the weather service.
