A special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 10:20 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog with visibilities have been observed along the base of the Blue Mountains, impacting sections of Oregon Highway 11 and Highway 12 from the Walla Regional Airport to Dayton. Patchy fog will persist the next several hours, with brief clearing expected in the afternoon. Fog is expected to redevelop tonight through tomorrow morning," explains the weather service.
