Description
We can't talk about fireworks and other activities without talking about fire prevention. Whatever your plans are for the upcoming holiday, remember to put safety first. Do not leave fires or grills unattended and be aware of activities that create sparks.
Practice Fireworks Safety
Fire Prevention:
π₯ Be aware of your surroundings and weather conditions.
π₯ Keep a bucket of water and a hose ready to respond if needed.
π₯ Make sure the area is clear of anything flammable such as debris, furniture, and grass or shrubbery.
π₯ Keep fireworks pointed away from buildings, greenery, and other areas that may catch fire.
π₯ Whether you are lighting fireworks yourself or watching an organized show, know the address so that you can quickly call 911 if a fire starts.
