Description

A Portland waste hauling and recycling company was recently issued a notice of violation after it disclosed that it took 409 tons of drywall to the landfill, instead of recycling it.

A prominent disposal company under scrutiny for taking recyclables from the Oregon Convention Center to the dump was issued a new violation notice last week after disclosing it improperly reported that it recycled 409 tons of drywall waste in recent years when it actually took the material to the landfill.
