Description

Dead dogs washing up on the shores of a Washington island were actually foxes legally purchased for use in commercial fishing operations, police said Friday.

The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office said last week it was investigating the deaths of nearly two dozen canines that washed up on Guemes Island in the Salish Sea.
