Description

One person was killed after his electric wheelchair became stuck on the railroad tracks and he was hit by a freight train Wednesday in downtown Puyallup, Washington.

Puyallup police and Central Pierce Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a BNSF train striking multiple people around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.
