** Warrant Arrest **  
  
On 12/23/2024, around 4:30 PM, Coos County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force identified a location of a wanted subject at a residence on Ohio Avenue, in Bandon.   
  
A CCSO USMS-TFO Deputy, U.S. Marshals Service and Bandon Police responded to the location for the apprehension of Jonathan W. Windhurst (39), wanted for an active Felony PV Warrant.   
  
After contacting several cooperative subjects on scene, it was learned Jonathan was currently in a detached garage. After making announcements to the occupants of the garage, two subjects followed commands and exited. Jonathan refused to comply with orders to exit, and barricaded himself within the garage. Additional CCSO Deputies were requested to assist, along with a CCSO K-9 unit.   
  
After more than a 2hr standoff and utilizing the deployment of OC-Gas, Jonathan was safely taken into custody. Jonathan was arrested and transported to jail without further incident.

After a more than 2 hour standoff, deputies and officers, along with the assistance of K9 Poe, were able to take the suspect into custody.
