Description

Portland’s soggy weekend weather should give way to a drier, milder Labor Day, with lingering morning moisture expected to clear out and Monday afternoon temperatures climbing near 70, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.

The weather service said an upper-level low pressure system that brought several days of rain and thunderstorms to the region has moved east of the Cascades. Any lingering showers were expected to dissipate by sunrise Monday, leaving the Portland area mostly dry for the holiday.
