CCSO release - Date/Time: March 4th, 2025, around 4:31 am; Case #: S202500363; Classification: Viol Restraining Order, Burg 2, criminal mischief 2, and Theft 2; Location: Isthmus Heights Road, Coos Bay; Suspect(s): Lane Neely (41); Summary: Coos County Sheriff's Office Arrests Man for Restraining Order Violation and Additional Charges. On March 4, 2025, at around 7:50 PM, the Coos County Sheriff's Office received a report of a restraining order violation at a residence on Isthmus Heights Road in Coos Bay. The caller reported that 41-year-old Lane Neely was present at the property, breaching an active restraining order. Deputy Churchill responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. It was determined that Lane had departed the area just minutes before Deputy Churchill's arrival. As Deputy Z. Smith was en route to the location, he spotted Lane driving past him. Deputy Z. Smith promptly turned his vehicle around to conduct a traffic stop with assistance from two Coos Bay Police Officers. Lane was apprehended without any resistance. Lane faces charges of violating a restraining order, second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree theft. He was subsequently transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and detained.
