Southridge’s Brooks Fortune is The Oregonian/OregonLive boys basketball player of the week for the week of Dec. 22, as voted by subscribers.
Fortune was a huge piece of the puzzle for the Skyhawks in their run at the Les Schwab Invitational. He socred 17 points (making four of four three-pointers) in a 63-61 win against Oregon City. He then scored 22 points in a 69-65 upset over Washington’s Rainier Beach.
