CCSO release - Myrtle Point, OR - On September 30, 2026, at 11:40 a.m., a Deputy was dispatched to the 52000 Block of Big Creek Lane, east of Myrtle Point, to take a report of a violation of a court order (Contempt of court).  During the investigation, Caleb E. Swearingen (32) was contacted and later arrested on (2) counts of Contempt of Court.  Mr. Swearingen was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.  “Police action is not indicative of guilt.  All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
