Description

OPRD release - Oregon Parks and Recreation Department awarded four grants totaling $295,195 for projects across the state that create or preserve memorials to veterans or wars.  Funded projects include:  A monument in Stanfield’s Veterans Memorial Park; Creation of the Oregon Airport Memorial Gateway in Florence; A Gold Star Memorial in Ryan J Hill Memorial Park in Keizer; A Revolutionary War Memorial within the Beaverton Veterans Memorial Park.  This competitive grant program was created by the Oregon legislature in 2005.
