On Thursday at 1:58 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 7 a.m. for Upper Hood River Valley.
The weather service adds, "Light snow, with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible through 6 am. West to southwest winds will increase after 7 am, with gusts 25 to 35 mph through rest of this morning. As such, temperatures will be rising into the upper 30s and lower 40s."
