At 3:38 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory valid from Thursday 10 a.m. until Friday 4 p.m. for Klamath Basin.

"Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected," explains the weather service. "The highest wind speeds are expected from Thursday evening into early Friday morning."
