Description

The National Weather Service issued an updated weather alert at 1:36 p.m. on Friday for strong thunderstorms until 2 p.m. for Inner Portland Metro, East Portland Metro, Outer Southeast Portland Metro, West Columbia River Gorge of Oregon above 500 ft, West Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor and Clackamas County Cascade Foothills.

The storms could bring wind gusts of up to 40 mph and pea-sized hail (0.25 inches).
