The fire is now at an estimated 3,624 acres and is now in both Washington and Oregon. The name is now Highway 730/Twin Sisters Fire. Air support reports it is attacking the fire from above while firefighters also remain on the ground.5:30 a.m. - Level 3 evacuations have been issued for Hatch Grade Rd and Highway 12, and has been expanded to Port Kelley and down to the Oregon State Line on Highway 730.Several wildland firefighters are on the scene of the Highway 730 Fire in Walla Walla County near Wallula. State fire assistance has been mobilized to help local firefighters with stopping the spread of the fire.Two wildland strike teams from the state are also working the fire and the State Fire Marshals Office is helping to coordinated resources.The Highway 730 Fire was discovered around 11 p.m. Saturday and is estimated to be burning at about 300 acres, according to Walla Walla Fire District officials. It is burning in grass and brush and there are homes and other properties being threatened by the fire. Check back on this article for updates as they come in.
