UO release – EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon Athletics has teamed up with SIDEARM Sports to launch a revamped version of GoDucks.com, utilizing NextGen Technology to create a new, more dynamic site that will provide Duck fans with faster load times, top-of-the-line security capabilities and interactive elements. The newly renovated GoDucks.com places an emphasis on telling the stories of Oregon’s student-athletes and programs, with easier access to the latest news and updates. Fans will also be able to easily enjoy the department’s newest videos, all episodes of the Mighty Oregon Podcast, live audio broadcasts, live stats and more. A new schedule feature at the top of the main home page and all sport pages will help Duck fans to keep up with Oregon’s schedules and plan their visits to see the Ducks compete in person, and easy access to buying tickets for all Oregon Athletics events is available throughout the site. Fans will also be able to take a closer look at Oregon’s state-of-the-art facilities, with a slideshow containing all of UO’s facilities at the bottom of the home page and each facility highlighted on the appropriate sport pages. Links to all Oregon Athletics social media accounts are available throughout the site, allowing Duck fans to easily stay up to date with the latest news and content from each sport. NextGen is the future of digital fan engagement, enabling the fastest and most secure websites in the industry. It is the latest version of SIDEARM’s nationally recognized software that has powered college athletics for more than 20 years. The launch of SIDEARM NextGen on GoDucks.com is the first step in making the digital experience as efficient and enjoyable as possible for Duck fans.
