Don’t be surprised if former Marshfield quarterback, and UO alum, Aaron Thomas was a little giddy Saturday watching his son Brock lead the Oregon Ducks to two scores in a rainy Autzen Stadium during a 21-7 Big 10 Conference win over visiting Wisconsin at Eugene. Thomas, who played prep ball for former Pirate head coach, Josh Line at Sheldon HS, in Eugene, came into the game in the second-half when starter Dante Moore went out with a bloody nose on a short run. Thomas made the best of his opportunity throwing four-out-of-four for 46-yards and a score. He also led a drive that ended with a touchdown. Oregon (4-1, 7-1) has a bye this week and will play at Iowa (4-1, 6-2), Saturday, Nov. 8th.
