UO release - Assistant coaches join beach volleyball program.  EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon beach volleyball head coach Kristian Kuld has announced the additions Brooke Blutreich and Danny Woodley as the Ducks' assistant coaches.  "I'm thrilled to be adding two great people and role models to help lead this new era of Oregon beach volleyball," Kuld said. "Both Brooke and Danny have extensive experience as high-level athletes coming from elite collegiate programs. Their combined knowledge, coaching experiences and enthusiasm for this opportunity are what excites me the most about bringing them into the program. We are so lucky to have two great minds who share such optimism and positivity to foster our student-athletes for years to come."  Blutreich comes to Eugene after a standout playing career at LSU and Arizona. She went on to earn a graduate certificate from Arizona in inclusive leadership in sport and recreation.  Blutreich brings prior coaching experience as an assistant for the Catalina Foothills High School beach volleyball team in Tucson, Ariz., and additional experience at the club level with in Eugene and Arizona.  Woodley comes from an extensive background at the club level, most recently working with Actyve Volleyball and Vertical Sports Performance as a coach and trainer in Santa Monica, Calif. During his time with Actyve, he was a two-time coach of the year and helped lead the club to the 2023 USAV Junior National title in the USA division.  Woodley founded the Tidal Beach Volleyball Club in Los Angeles in 2021, has served as a coach at Long Beach State and UCLA summer camps and carries further experience as an assistant coach at the high school and middle school levels.  The San Diego, Calif., native was a member of the UCLA men's volleyball team and was a five-time selection to the directors honor roll.
