Are you the type that likes a well-decorated porch early in October? This will be a perfect week for pumpkin picking with sunshine and warm temps through Thursday. Oregonian file photo.

Portland will start October with some high clouds dotting the sky in the morning, but by the afternoon we’ll see sunny skies and temps reaching into the upper 70s.
