Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. President Donald Trump, apparently after mainlining a Fox News report that mixed viral 2020 clips with scenes from Portland’s more muted recent protests, threatened to send federal troops to the city last week, saying Portland was like “living in hell.”

Since then, he’s served as a Reserve Officer, full-time Police Officer, Traffic Officer, EVOC Instructor, Force Tactics Instructor (FTI), and a dedicated member of Washington County’s Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART).
