Description

The Oregonian/OregonLive reported last week that executives from Washington County's sewer agency, Clean Water Services, traveled to annual business conference in Hawaii. It cost $42,000 to send six sewer officials to the 2023 conference at the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island.

Washington County’s elected watchdog said Tuesday that the public sewer agency should be audited in response to an investigation by The Oregonian/OregonLive that uncovered lavish travel spending and sky-high food expenses.
