A visit to the National Mall usually includes one of the most famous views in America: the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool stretching toward the Washington Monument. But months of repair work and temporary closures have changed that experience for millions of visitors. According to the National Park Service, access to the Reflecting Pool, nearby walkways and sections of surrounding grass areas has been restricted while crews complete restoration and repair projects.
