This annual Challenge of the Heroes event brings together local first responders in a friendly competition to raise funds for the Mercy Foundation – UP2USNow Child Abuse Prevention Coalition. Guests can enjoy a meal at one of their favorite restaurants while being served by local heroes, with the goal of collecting tips and donations to support programs that protect and serve the children of Douglas County. Come out, enjoy great food, and help us make a difference. Competing with heart; united for children.

It continues west on Anderson Avenue onto Central Avenue, then Ocean Boulevard up to Norman Street where the participants will turn around to proceed back down Ocean Boulevard.
