Staff from our Environmental (Monica Hiner, Brittney Ford, Robert Ford) and Marine (Rosa Laucci, Rudy Lopez, Race Richards) Divisions collaborated last night to... collect mussels for testing of heavy metals, pesticides, and other chemicals. The Nation received a grant from CalEPA to conduct a study on the bioaccumulation of toxins in seaweed, bivalves, smelt, steelhead, and chinook.
