Today we celebrate National Medical Assistant Day!

Medical assistants are vital members of the healthcare team, working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. They perform a variety of tasks, including: Completing lab tests, Documenting medical histories, Explaining treatment procedures, Assisting physicians during procedures, and Preparing patients for examinations.
