Description
Throughout this month, the Oregon Secretary of State's Office is celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Jewish Heritage Month. As we honor AANHPI and Jewish American Heritage Month, we must acknowledge the history of hate against these communities and work to foster a world where all people are safe and cultures are respected.
Our office stands against hate of any kind.
Oregon Rises Above Hate continues to uplift and amplify the voices of the AANHPI community. Join their AANHPI Heritage Month celebration this weekend on May 4th. Learn more here: https://www.oregonrisesabovehate.com/
The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education (OJMCHE) features rotating exhibits that elevate the stories of Holocaust survivors. Celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month with OJMCHE starting this weekend and throughout the month of May. Find their programming here: https://www.ojmche.org/calendar/
