Thousands of heating, cooling devices recalled after 11 fire reports causing $2.7M in damage

The devices were sold nationwide by independent retailers between 2013 and 2026. They are most commonly used in school settings.

Modine Manufacturing Company is recalling about 6,800 heating and cooling ventilation fans after receiving 11 reports of fires linked to the units, which have caused at least $2.7 million in property damage.
