This evening, we pause to reflect.

Ten years ago, our community endured the tragedy at Umpqua Community College. Tonight, we remember the lives taken and honor those who survived, including the students, faculty, and first responders who showed incredible courage in the face of unimaginable danger.

As your Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, we remain inspired by the strength and unity of our community. Together, we continue to support one another, uphold safety, and honor every life affected by that day.

May we carry forward their memory through compassion, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of Umpqua Community College and the people of Douglas County.Photos from Douglas County Sheriff's Office's post
