Hundreds of Central Catholic students walked out of school last spring to show solidarity with Black students after an incident where a member of the baseball team led a chant that incorporated a racist slur. Two employees who advised the Black Students Union during the protests last summer did not have their contracts renewed by the school.

Two former Central Catholic High School employees allege that their positions were eliminated after tense protests last spring over the school’s handling of a racist incident involving its baseball team.
