Hundreds of people from around the Portland area talked about what they believe is the region's most pressing problem, in a poll commissioned by The Oregonian/OregonLive.

Hillsboro resident Maricruz Acuña finds it harder and harder to save as much for the future as the cost for virtually everything — from electricity to gas to groceries — marches upward.
