Brunch dishes at Grits N' Gravy. The restaurant closed this month after half a decade in downtown Portland.

Usually, Portland sees a rash of restaurants and bars closing in midwinter, when business owners brave several months of miserable weather after the holidays with only Valentine’s Day likely to draw a crowd.
