The SAFE Project is actively recruiting passionate and empathetic individuals as volunteers to join our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline Team, our most urgent volunteer need. As the "First Voice of Hope," you will provide vital, immediate support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, teen dating violence, and stalking.
Requirements & Training
✅ Live in or have familiarity with Coos & Curry County.
✅Complete an application and background check.
✅ Complete a 40-hour online core advocacy training.
✅ Shadow existing advocates to gain hands-on experience.
Opportunity for Advancement 📈
Volunteers who dedicate 6+ months to the crisis hotline may be considered for additional roles such as our Crisis Response Team and Emergency Shelter Support. At this time we are only accepting volunteer applications for those interested in participating on our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline. ☎️
