The MHS Band of Pirates pep band had the opportunity to support the Powers girls basketball team run in the state tournament over the last week. Wednesday and tonight the band was able to make the trip down to Cruiser Country and provide some additional energy. The gym was rocking and it was a great environment as the Powers team punched their ticket to Baker City tonight. We can’t thank the Powers community enough for providing the students a wonderful dinner both nights and a donation of over $2200 for the marching bands trip to Hawaii next year for the Pearl Harbor parade. Community supporting community is what makes the South Coast a great place. Best of luck to the girls team next week. We will be cheering you on.Photos from Marshfield High School's post
