The Coos County Animal Shelter is very thankful for all the donations it receives from the public on a continual basis. From food and vet care to man-hours donated by the public to help with operations, just to name a few.

Recently, Bill from McKay’s Market, a long-time supporter, has greatly assisted shelter operations by agreeing to repair the freezer, which serves the shelter, with a new compressor unit and other desperately needed repairs to the Shelter, which will save taxpayers several thousand dollars.

Because of donations like this from our community partners, we are able to use the funds allotted to us by the County to better serve the animals in our care.
