The CBPD has been alerted to a phone scam affecting our community. In this scam, callers pose as members of the CBPD or other authority figures and claim they are conducting an investigation. They inform residents that, as part of the investigation, they must provide personal banking information. Please be aware that government agencies, including the CBPD, will never call to request personal information or use threats or intimidation to pressure you into paying a fee.
