Southwestern Oregon’s men’s basketball season came to an end at the NWAC Tournament, Pasco, WA, Thursday, March 5. The Lakers (24-7) fell to Bellevue, (29-2) 78-59. SWOCC’s baseball team dropped an NWAC doubleheader Thursday at home to visiting Lane, 7-0 & 6-5. The Lakers (2-4, 7-7) host Linn-Benton for a doubleheader on Sunday, March 8, noon & 3 p.m. SWOCC’s softball team enters a pre-season Inter Region Tournament, Saturday, March 7, vs. Everett at 10 a.m., Wenatchee Valley at 3 p.m. and then Sunday, vs. Olympic, 9 a.m. All at Pasco, WA. Southwestern’s track team travels to McMinnville, Linfield College, March 6 & 7, to compete in the Erik Anderson Invite.
