Southwestern Oregon’s men’s basketball team has two games to go in the regular season and the Lakers are battling for second-place in the South Region of the NWAC. Umpqua (11-3, 23-4) has already clinched, but the fight for second remains. SWOCC (9-5, 21-6) hosts fifth-place Portland (7-7, 14-11), Saturday, Feb. 21, 2p, Prosper Hall on the Coos Bay Campus. Clark & Lane, both 9-6, are tied for third-place. Southwesterns’ women host Portland Saturday at 4p. The Laker baseball team hosts Treasure Valley, of Ontario, for four-games beginning Friday, Feb. 20, 11a & 2p. Games continue on Saturday at 11a & 2p. SWOCC’s softball team is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Mt. Hood, Saturday, Feb. 21, noon & 2p.
