After losing four NWAC games in-a-row, Southwestern Oregon’s softball team has bounced back with six-straight South Conference wins to move into fourth-place. On Friday, the Lakers downed Clark, 10-1 (5) & 18-1 (5). On Saturday, SWOCC beat visiting Clackamas, 9-2 & 7-1. Southwestern hosts Chemeketa for a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 8, noon & 2 p.m. In NWAC baseball, South Conference leader Linn-Benton swept four-straight one-run games from the fourth-place Lakers. On Thursday at Albany, the Roadrunners won 1-0 & 4-3. Saturday, at Coos Bay, LB won 5-4 (12) & 5-4 (7). SWOCC (9-10, 12-14) hosts Mt. Hood on Thursday, April 10, 1 & 4 p.m.
