Southwestern Oregon’s men downed visiting Clackamas, 78-57 Saturday in an NWAC basketball game at Prosper Hall on the Coos Bay Campus. With seven games to go in the regular season, the Lakers (5-4, 16-6) stand in fifth and will host Chemeketa (2-6, 7-13), Saturday, Feb. 8th, 4 p.m. Clark College (7-2, 15-6) leads the NWAC South, followed by Umpqua (6-3, 17-4) and Lane (6-3, 15-5). Portland is fourth (6-3, 13-8). Southwestern’s women lost their fourth in a row Saturday at home to Clackamas, 71-39. The Lakers (1-8, 5-15) host Chemeketa, Saturday, Feb. 8th, 2 p.m.
