STATUS: RESOLVED
Please be advised that all schools in the district were briefly placed on a "Secure" status under the Standard Response Protocol. This precaution was taken following a report of possible gunshots within the city, which was reported to the Superintendent at approximately 11:55 AM.
There was no immediate threat to students or staff, and all activities continued safely inside the buildings during this time. The Reedsport Police Department gave the all clear at 12:08 PM, and the Secure protocol has since been lifted.
