Description

Earlier this year, Eric D. Alexander pleaded guilty to five counts of attempted second-degree murder, four counts of first-degree arson, first-degree criminal mischief, stalking, harassment, menacing and recklessly endangering another person. Alexander was sentenced last week.

A 43-year-old who set fire to a Portland home as part of what they told authorities was their plan to kill a family they thought was linked to an ex-partner has been sentenced to nearly 21 years in prison.
