South Medford's seniors capped a remarkable run that included four trips to the state tournament, two runner-up finishes (2023, 2026) and a state championship in 2024.

PORTLAND — Twenty-four hours after one of the most exhilarating and memorable finishes in state tournament history, South Medford found itself with the inevitable task of playing one more game.
