SNAP payment change: Food stamp benefits increasing Oct. 1

Description

The Cost of Living Adjustment impacts the maximum allotments for SNAP recipients, commonly known as food stamps. The changes will take effect on Oct. 1 and last until Sept. 30, 2025.

Benefits provided through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are set to increase this week.
