City of Coos Bay newsletter - The Holiday Lights at Shore Acres runs from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. This cherished community tradition is made possible by the Friends of Shore Acres, the dedicated efforts of more than 1,500 volunteers, the invaluable support of local businesses, state park personnel, and the wholehearted backing of the community. Each season, it draws in thousands of visitors from all over the world! Time-Specific Parking Pass - If you’re planning to drive, you will need a special Time-Specific Parking Pass in advance again this year. In an effort to reduce wait times and backed up traffic conditions, you’ll be required to make a Parking Pass reservation to visit. These Parking Passes are per vehicle, not per person. The passes are only $5 per vehicle, unless you already have an annual park pass. Parking Reservations are available by calling 1-800-452-5687 or book online with Oregon State Parks here: https://bit.ly/3zzOFig Take Santa’s Shuttle - Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve, plus the four holiday nights of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, take the FREE shuttle from the Charleston Marina (parking lot at the corner of Guano Rock Lane and Crossline Road in the Marina) to Shore Acres State Park!
