Siblings and co-owners Alex Bhathal (left) and Lisa Bhathal Merage, shown on April 22, 2025, have shaken up the power structure of Portland's WNBA expansion team. The franchise fired President Inky Son this week less than three months after announcing her hire.

Maybe the Fire is the right name for Portland’s WNBA expansion team after all.
