Search crews recovered a body Monday morning on Mississippi’s Horn Island during the search for missing 18-year-old Nolan Xavier Wells after a large, multi-agency operation over the Fourth of July weekend.

A multi-agency search for an 18-year-old Mississippi college football player ended in tragedy Monday after authorities recovered a body on Horn Island, a remote barrier island off the state’s Gulf Coast. Officials have not yet publicly released a formal identification, but the discovery came during the search for Nolan Xavier Wells, who disappeared while spending the Fourth of July holiday with friends.Source:
