Description

The Salvation Army will operate 200 new winter shelter beds funded by the City of Portland and Multnomah County for 2025. In this file photo, a member of the Salvation Army’s mobile team works to collect information about clients experiencing homelessness for a Multnomah County database.

On day two of his term as Portland’s mayor, Keith Wilson joined Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson to announce the locations for the 200 new shelter beds they pledged to open as early as next week.
