Spring offers a once-a-year opportunity to witness the brief spectacle of shimmery pink and white cherry blossoms. This Saturday, the blooms invite visitors to gather at the Capitol in Salem for the start of two weeks of celebrating cherry blossom (sakura) and other aspects of Japanese culture.
